The Ndume trailer is built to last. It has a heavy duty chassis made of
150mm x 75mm x 6mm Channel with a load spreader plate on the chassis to
distribute axle load over a length of 1 meter. The draw bar is welded into a
heavy duty box section cross member and has an hardened steel bush in the hitch.
All 5-tonne trailers are fitted with 7-tonne axles on heavy duty tapered roller bearings. The standard trailer comes with fixed sides and hinged, easily removed tailgate. High sided trailers can be supplied on request. Rims are heavy duty 750 x 16 split type, tyres are dual 750 x 16 14ply.
